I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (CPCAB) from Langley Training, and I am currently studying for a Post-graduate Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (CPCAB)
I have experience of working as a therapist within a secondary school and a hospice, supporting bereaved families. I have my own private practice, Bearbrook Talking Therapy.
I work with a large range of issues, and specialise in working with the bereaved and also neurodivergent young people. I have lived experience and work with neurodivergent young people to help them understand their world and explore the difficulties that they can face with day-to-day life. I have worked within a secondary school and a hospice. My areas of expertise include, (but not only) loss and change, bereavement, anxiety, relationship difficulties, childhood issues, low mood and low self-esteem.
Currently, I do not offer couples or group therapy.
I am an Accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society; my membership number is NCS24-00005. I have public liability insurance.
